📌Titus

Person

Titus was one of the early church leaders. He was a Greek who heard the gospel from Paul and accepted Jesus.

Gal 2:3But not even Titus, who was with me, though a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised.
Titus 1:4To Titus, my true son in our common faith: Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior.

He was Paul's faithful co-worker. He delivered letters to the Corinthian church and informed Paul of the situation there.

2 Cor 8:6So we urged Titus that, as he had already made a beginning, he should also complete among you this act of grace.
2 Cor 8:16But thanks be to God, who put into the heart of Titus the same earnest care I have for you.
2 Cor 8:23As for Titus, he is my partner and fellow worker for your benefit. And as for our brothers, they are messengers of the churches, the glory of Christ.

Later, Titus remained in Crete and cared for the church.

Titus 1:5This is why I left you in Crete, so that you might put what remained into order, and appoint elders in every town as I directed you.

And he was asked to come to Paul when Paul was in Nicopolis.

Titus 3:12When I send Artemas or Tychicus to you, do your best to come to me at Nicopolis, for I have decided to spend the winter there.

Finally, it seems he went to Dalmatia to preach the gospel.

2 Tim 4:10For Demas, in love with this present world, has deserted me and gone to Thessalonica. Crescens has gone to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia.
