1 Chr 25:1David and the commanders of the army set apart some of the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who were to prophesy with lyres, harps, and cymbals. The number of those who performed their service was:1 Chr 25:2Of the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, and Asarelah; the sons of Asaph were under the direction of Asaph, who prophesied under the king’s direction.1 Chr 25:3Of Jeduthun, the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Shimei, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six in all, under the direction of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with the lyre, giving thanks and praising the Lord.
