One of the people who rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem during the time of Nehemiah (governor).

Neh 3:4Next to them Meremoth son of Uriah, son of Hakkoz, made repairs. Next to them Meshullam son of Berechiah, son of Meshezabel, made repairs. Next to them Zadok son of Baana made repairs.
Neh 3:30Next to them Hananiah son of Shelemiah, and Hanun the sixth son of Zalaph, repaired another section. Next to them Berechiah’s son Meshullam repaired the section opposite his living quarters.

However, he allied with Tobiah, one of the groups that hindered Nehemiah's wall reconstruction, and arranged for his son to marry Meshullam's daughter.

Neh 6:18For many in Judah were bound by oath to Tobiah, because he was the son-in-law of Shecaniah son of Arah, and his son Jehohanan had married the daughter of Berechiah son of Meshullam.
