One of the Levites who distributed tithes and offerings to the people during the time of Hezekiah (King of Judah).
2 Chr 31:15Under him were Eden, Minyamin, Jeshua, Shemaiah, Amariah, and Shecaniah, who were faithfully assisting in the cities of the priests, to distribute to their brothers by divisions, to great and small alike,2 Chr 31:16besides those enrolled by genealogy, males from three years old and upward, all who entered the house of the Lord as the duty of each day required, for their service in their divisions.
