A man of the Simeon tribe who was one of those who conquered land during the time of Hezekiah (King of Judah).

1 Chr 4:37and Sibi’s son Sisa, the son of Alon, the grandson of Yedaya, the great-grandson of Simri, the fifth generation descendant of Shemaiah.1 Chr 4:38These recorded names are their clans and the names of the leaders of their families, and they became very numerous.1 Chr 4:39They went to the territory of Gedor, east of the valley, to seek pasture for their flocks.1 Chr 4:40They found rich and beautiful pasture, and the land was wide, stable, and peaceful, for the people who had lived there from ancient times were the descendants of Ham.1 Chr 4:41These people, whose names are recorded in this list, went in the days of King of Judah Hezekiah and attacked their tents and defeated them, and struck down the Meunim people who were there and utterly destroyed them, and have lived there in their place until today, for there was pasture there for their flocks.
