This document is about Ebal (place name). For other homonyms, please refer to the Ebal document. It is a mountain near the Jordan River. After entering Canaan, God divided the tribes of Israel into two, placing one on Mount Ebal and the other on Mount Gerizim, and made them swear to revere God for generations.
