A person who helped Jehu (King of Northern Israel) when he was anointed by God and purified the Baal worship.

2 Kings 10:15When Jehu left there, he met Jehonadab son of Rekab, who was coming to meet him. Jehu greeted him and said, “Are you as loyal to me as I am to you?” Jehonadab answered, “I am.” Jehu said, “If so, give me your hand.” So he gave him his hand, and Jehu pulled him up into the chariot.2 Kings 10:16Then Jehu said, “Come with me and see my zeal for the Lord.” So he had him ride in his chariot.2 Kings 10:17When Jehu came to Samaria, he killed all who were left of Ahab’s family in Samaria, until he had destroyed them, according to the word of the Lord spoken to Elijah.2 Kings 10:18Then Jehu assembled all the people and said to them, “Ahab served Baal a little, but Jehu will serve him much.2 Kings 10:19Now summon all the prophets of Baal, all his worshipers and all his priests. See that no one is missing, because I am going to hold a great sacrifice for Baal. Anyone who fails to come will not live.” But Jehu was acting deceptively in order to destroy the worshipers of Baal.2 Kings 10:20Jehu said, “Call a sacred assembly for Baal.” So they proclaimed it.2 Kings 10:21Then Jehu sent word throughout Israel, and all the worshipers of Baal came; not one stayed away. They crowded into the temple of Baal until it was full from one end to the other.2 Kings 10:22Jehu said to the keeper of the wardrobe, “Bring out robes for all the worshipers of Baal.” So he brought out robes for them.
