Daughter of Jehoram (King of Judah). When Athaliah killed all the royal offspring, she rescued the young Prince Joash, saving his life. She is the wife of Jehoiada.
2 Chr 22:11But Jehoshabeath, the daughter of the king, took Joash the son of Ahaziah and stole him away from among the king’s sons who were being murdered, and she put him and his nurse in a bedroom. Thus Jehoshabeath, the daughter of King Jehoram and sister of Ahaziah, and wife of Jehoiada the priest, hid him from Athaliah, so that she did not kill him.
