This document is about Caleb (son_of_Hezron). For other homonyms, please refer to the Caleb document. He was a man of the tribe of Judah. He was the great-grandson of Judah (son of Jacob). He was also the father of Hur, famous as Moses' co-worker, and the ancestor of Bezalel (son of Uri), who built the tabernacle in the wilderness.
