He wrote Zechariah (Bible). He was the son of Berechiah, born in Babylon and part of the generation that returned to Jerusalem.

Zechariah 1:1“Yahweh was very displeased with your fathers.
Zechariah 4:6Who are you, great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you are a plain; and he will bring out the capstone with shouts of ‘Grace, grace, to it!’ ”Zechariah 4:7Moreover Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,Zechariah 4:8“The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house. His hands shall also finish it; and you will know that Yahweh of Armies has sent me to you.Zechariah 4:9Indeed, who despises the day of small things? For these seven shall rejoice, and shall see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. These are Yahweh’s eyes, which run back and forth through the whole earth.”
Ezra 5:1Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak rose up and began to build God’s house which is at Jerusalem; and with them were the prophets of God, helping them.Ezra 5:2At the same time Tattenai, the governor beyond the River came to them, with Shetharbozenai, and their companions, and asked them, “Who gave you a decree to build this house, and to finish this wall?”
Ezra 6:14This house was finished on the third day of the month Adar, which was in the sixth year of the reign of Darius the king.Ezra 6:15The children of Israel, the priests, the Levites, and the rest of the children of the captivity, kept the dedication of this house of God with joy.
