Horonaim is a city located in southern Moab.

It is a region where the destruction of Moab was spoken of in Jeremiah and Isaiah.

Isa 15:5My heart cries out for Moab; her fugitives flee to Zoar, to Eglath-shelishiyah. They go up the Luhith ascent weeping; on the road to Horonaim they cry out over the destruction.

Jer 48:3A voice of crying from Horonaim: “Devastation and great destruction!”

Jer 48:5For they go up the Luhith ascent weeping, and on the descent of Horonaim they hear the painful cry of destruction.

Jer 48:34From Heshbon to Elealeh, to Jahaz, they raise their voice, and from Zoar to Horonaim, to Eglath-shelishiyah, for even the waters of Nimrim are desolate.
