It seems to refer to the region where Caleb (son of Jephunneh) and his clan were located. However, in other Bibles, it is written as Kenizzite.
Num 32:12except Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite, and Joshua the son of Nun, for they have wholly followed the Lord.
