King Saul gave his daughter Michal to David as his wife, but when David fled, he gave her again to this Baldi as his wife.
1 Sam 25:44Saul had given David’s wife Michal, his daughter, to Palti son of Laish, who was from Gallim.
After Saul's death, David requested Michal back to secure the legitimacy of his kingship by maintaining the marital relationship, and eventually, they were forcibly separated.
In other places, he is recorded as Baltiel.
