One of David's mighty men. Despite being from the tribe of Benjamin, he did not side with Saul (king) but helped David.

1 Chr 12:1Now these are the men who came to David at Ziklag, while he was still in hiding from Saul the son of Kish; and they were among the mighty men who helped him in war.1 Chr 12:2They were armed with bows and could use both the right hand and the left in hurling stones and shooting arrows; and they were of Benjamin, Saul’s kinsmen.1 Chr 12:3The chief was Ahiezer, then Joash, the sons of Shemaah the Gibeathite; and Jeziel and Pelet the sons of Azmaveth; and Beracah, and Jehu the Anathothite;1 Chr 12:4and Ishmaiah the Gibeonite, a mighty man among the thirty, and over the thirty; and Jeremiah, and Jahaziel, and Johanan, and Jozabad the Gederathite;
