Sons of Jehoshaphat (King of Judah) and brothers of Jehoram (King of Judah). There are two with the same name, and they were killed after their brother Jehoram (King of Judah) ascended to the throne.
2 Chr 21:1Jehoshaphat rested with his ancestors and was buried with them in the City of David. And Jehoram his son succeeded him as king.2 Chr 21:2Jehoram’s brothers, the sons of Jehoshaphat, were Azariah, Jehiel, Zechariah, Azariah, Michael and Shephatiah. All these were the sons of King of Judah Jehoshaphat.2 Chr 21:3Their father had given them many gifts of silver and gold and valuable possessions, together with fortified cities in Judah, but he had given the kingdom to Jehoram because he was his firstborn son.2 Chr 21:4When Jehoram had taken control of his father’s kingdom and made himself strong, he put all his brothers and some of the officials of Israel to the sword.
