When Ezra (the Scribe) returned to Jerusalem and found no Levites, he sent patriarchs, or leaders, to search for the Nethinim. Among these patriarchs, there are two individuals named Elnathan, and specifically one named Elnathan who is called "a man of understanding," making a total of three individuals.
Ezra 8:16So I sent for Eliezer, Ariel, Shemaiah, Elnathan, Jarib, Elnathan, Nathan, Zechariah, and Meshullam, who were leaders; also for Joiarib and Elnathan, who were men of understanding.
