1 Chronicles 24:6Shemaiah son of Nedaniah, the scribe, a Levite, recorded their names in the presence of the king and the officials and Zadok the priest and Ahimelech son of Abiathar and the heads of the priestly and Levitical families. One family was chosen from Eleazar, and another from Ithamar.
