Judges 9:50Abimelech went to Thebez and encamped against Thebez and captured it.Judges 9:51But there was a strong tower within the city, and all the men and women of the city fled to it and locked themselves in and went up to the roof of the tower.Judges 9:52Abimelech came to the tower and fought against it, and approached the door of the tower to burn it with fire.Judges 9:53But a certain woman threw an upper millstone on Abimelech’s head and crushed his skull.Judges 9:54Then Abimelech called quickly to the young man who carried his armor and said to him, “Draw your sword and kill me, lest they say of me, ‘A woman killed him.’” So the young man thrust him through, and he died.Judges 9:55When the men of Israel saw that Abimelech was dead, they all departed to their homes.
