Isa 66:19I will set a sign among them, and I will send some of those who escape to the nations—to Tarshish, to Put and Lud, who draw the bow, and to Tubal and Javan, to the distant islands that have not heard of my fame or seen my glory. They will proclaim my glory among the nations.
They were also called Ludim.
Jer 46:9Charge, you horses! Drive furiously, you chariots! Let the warriors advance—Cushites and Putites who carry shields, and Ludites who draw the bow.
In the book of Ezekiel, it was prophesied that when Egypt falls, the descendants of Lud will also perish.
