Son of Ahaz, king of Judah. When his father Ahaz sinned before God, he was invaded by Pekah, king of Northern Israel. At that time, he was killed by Zichri, a commander under Pekah.
2 Chr 28:6For he had forsaken the Lord, the God of his fathers. Pekah son of Remaliah killed 120,000 valiant men in Judah in one day,2 Chr 28:7and Zichri, a mighty warrior of Ephraim, killed Maaseiah the king’s son, Azrikam the officer of the palace, and Elkanah the second to the king.
