📌Azariah (son of Jeroham)

He was a centurion who joined forces when Jehoiada (priest during Joash's time) led a coup against Athaliah and enthroned Joash (King of Judah).

2 Chr 23:1In the seventh year, Jehoiada strengthened himself and made a covenant with the commanders of hundreds: Azariah son of Jeroham, Ishmael son of Jehohanan, Azariah son of Obed, Maaseiah son of Adaiah, and Elishaphat son of Zichri.2 Chr 23:2They went throughout Judah and gathered the Levites from all the towns of Judah and the heads of families of Israel, and they came to Jerusalem.2 Chr 23:3The whole assembly made a covenant with the king in the house of God. Jehoiada said to them, “The king’s son shall reign, as the Lord promised concerning the descendants of David.2 Chr 23:4Now this is what you are to do: A third of you, priests and Levites, who are on duty on the Sabbath, are to guard the doors;2 Chr 23:5a third are to be at the royal palace; and a third at the Foundation Gate. All the people are to be in the courtyards of the house of the Lord.
