A prophet during the time of Jehoshaphat (King of Judah).

King Jehoshaphat was on friendly terms with Ahaziah (King of Israel), the king of the Northern Kingdom of Israel at the time. The two kings joined forces to build ships, but Eliezer prophesied that these ships would be broken.

2 Chr 20:35After this, King of Judah Jehoshaphat allied himself with Israel’s King Ahaziah, who was a very wicked man.2 Chr 20:36They agreed to build a fleet of trading ships. After constructing the ships at Ezion-geber, they planned to sail them to Tarshish.2 Chr 20:37But Eliezer son of Dodavahu from Mareshah prophesied against Jehoshaphat, saying, “Because you have allied yourself with Ahaziah, the Lord will destroy your work.” So the ships were wrecked and never sailed to Tarshish.
