📌James the Great

Person

This document is about James the Great. For other homonyms, please refer to the James document. [See Twelve Disciples] He is one of Jesus' disciples. He is the son of Zebedee, and together with his brother John, he served as one of Jesus' chief disciples. He was a fisherman in the Galilee region, and upon Jesus' call, he became an apostle.

Mark 1:19Immediately he called them, and they left their father, Zebedee, in the boat with the hired servants, and went after him.
