Zebedee was the father of Jesus' disciples James and John.
Matt 4:21Going on from there, he saw two other brothers, James son of Zebedee and his brother John, in a boat with their father Zebedee, preparing their nets. Jesus called them,Matt 4:22and immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him.
Matt 10:2These are the names of the twelve apostles: first, Simon (who is called Peter) and his brother Andrew; James son of Zebedee, and his brother John;
