Nadab (King of Northern Israel) was the second king of the Northern Kingdom of Israel. He inherited the throne after his father, Jeroboam I, separated and established a new kingdom. However, he followed in his father's footsteps, doing evil and not ceasing from idolatry, and was eventually killed in a rebellion led by Baasha.

His descendants were also all annihilated by Baasha.

1 Kings 14:20Jeroboam reigned twenty-two years. He rested with his ancestors, and his son Nadab succeeded him as king.
1 Kings 15:25In the second year of Judah's King Asa, Jeroboam's son Nadab became king of Israel, and he reigned over Israel for two years.1 Kings 15:26He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, walking in the ways of his father and in the sin which he had caused Israel to commit.1 Kings 15:27Then Baasha son of Ahijah of the tribe of Issachar conspired against him. Baasha struck him down at Gibbethon, which belonged to the Philistines, while Nadab and all Israel were besieging Gibbethon.1 Kings 15:28In the third year of Judah's King Asa, Baasha killed Nadab and succeeded him as king.1 Kings 15:29As soon as he began to reign, he struck down all the house of Jeroboam. He did not leave alive anyone that breathed, but utterly destroyed them, according to the word of the Lord, which he spoke by his servant Ahijah the Shilonite.1 Kings 15:29
