Sarah is the wife of Abraham and the mother of Isaac. She was initially called Sarai, but her name was changed.
Genesis 11:29Abram and Nahor took wives. The name of Abram’s wife was Sarai, and the name of Nahor’s wife was Milcah, the daughter of Haran, the father of Milcah and Iscah.
Genesis 17:15God also said to Abraham, “As for Sarai your wife, you are not to call her Sarai any longer, but Sarah.”
She was originally Abram's half-sister, but became Abraham's wife and remained with him throughout her life.
Initially, her faith was not strong, so even after receiving God's promise, she gave Hagar to Abraham to bear a son.
Nevertheless, when Ishmael was born, she became very jealous. Later, by God's grace, she had a son, Isaac. She later died and was buried in the cave of Machpelah.
